High-Yield Savings Account
A gift to Olivia's High-Yield Savings Account will help her learn healthy financial habits while she's growing up.
With parental guidance, Olivia will have supervised access to these funds throughout her childhood as we teach her about saving, budgeting, generosity, and thoughtful spending. She will have full control of the account when she turns 18.
Choose this option if you'd like your gift to help Olivia learn financial responsibility while she's growing up.

Custodial Investment Account (UTMA)
A Uniform Transfers to Minors Act (UTMA) account is a long-term investment account owned by Olivia.
Your gift will be professionally invested and allowed to grow over time. Unlike her savings account, Olivia will not be able to access these funds until she turns 21, allowing years of potential growth through long-term investing.
Choose this option if you'd like your gift to provide Olivia with a financial foundation for adulthood.

Why We Chose a UTMA
When Olivia was born, we learned about custodial investment accounts under the Uniform Transfers to Minors Act (UTMA). We were surprised that more people didn't know about them. Rather than accumulating more toys that she'll quickly outgrow, we hope to give Olivia something that will grow with her: a foundation for future opportunities and an early appreciation for saving and investing. If you've never heard of a UTMA before, we encourage you to learn more. It may be a meaningful option for your own children or grandchildren as well.

When making your contribution, please include either "Olivia's Savings" or "Olivia's UTMA" in the memo or comments. We will ensure that your gift is deposited exactly as you direct.
If you don't do digital banking/money transfers or are more comfortable with checks, money orders, or cash:
make contributions to Olivia's savings account payable to "Mariana Ramirez O/B/O Olivia Ramirez-Givhan" and write "Olivia's Savings" on the memo line; or
make contributions to Olivia's custodial investment account payable to "Mercer Givhan O/B/O Olivia Ramirez-Givhan" and write "Olivia's UTMA" on the memo line.
